More Photos from the Isle of Wight

I just wanted to show you a few more of my photos from my holiday in the Isle of Wight.

This photo is when we stopped for a rest break because Pop's would stop every now and again for me to have my nappy changed or for me to stretch my legs. It was good, because Pops could open the back of his car and then Mummy used to lay me in the back to change me.

The photo above is when Mummy and Grandma popped into the Co-Op for some shopping and Pops sat in the back with me and we played peep-bo. Mummy said I had to keep Pops amused while they were shopping or else he'd get a "mush on", whatever that is, and I think I did quite well 'cos he looked as if he was enjoying himself.
The next photo is when we were coming home on the ferry.

I thought it was very nice, I sat and had some food and in no time time at all we were back to the mainland at Lymington and on our way back home. I couldn't wait to get back to see my Daddy. It had been a nice first holiday, and I would like to do it again one day, but not without my Daddy. Thank you Mummy, Grandma and Pops for a lovely time.

My Holiday in the Isle of Wight

At the end of March, Mummy, Grandma and Pops took me on holiday to the Isle of Wight.
Daddy couldn't come because he didn't have any holiday, ( Pops said it was because he wanted to play on his playstation and get lots of sleep!).
Anyway we went off and we had to get on a big ferry to go over the water to the Isle of Wight, it was very exciting for a little girl like me, and I was very good all the way over.
We stayed in a caravan right next to the sea on a farm in Brighstone

Above you can see me with Mummy in the caravan. I'm wearing a hat that mummy bought for me for the summer, and some boots Pops and Grandma bought me, I like them a lot.
One day we all went to the zoo, and I saw lots of monkeys, tigers and lions, I wasn't frightened!

This is me with Grandma and Pops in front of the Lions. I think they had just been fed so I don't think they were interested in us much. As you can see I have my proper winter hat on in the photo above, this is one of my favourites. We were very lucky and had some nice sunny days in between the showers and Pops took us to the seaside lots of times.

This is Mummy and me at Ventnor, Mummy wanted to see the places she went to when she was a little girl and this was one of them. After we had a ride out for the day we used to go back to the caravan and Pops and I would chill out on the sofa as you can see below, and you can see how close we were to the sea out of the window.

Here's one of the two of us waiting for Mummy and Grandma to get ready before going out for the day.

We used to go out every day and Mummy said I was a very good girl in the Pubs where we went for dinner every day, even though I was a little bit noisy now and again, because I have found my voice apparently, and I like the sound of it, so I keep trying to see how many sounds I can make and how loud I can make them. Pops thinks it's quite funny and sometimes we blow raspberries at each other and that's good fun too.

Hi I'm back for an update.

Hi Everybody, we're back online.
I had to have a word with my Pops as we have not been keeping everybody up to date with what's been going on.
People say I've been a bit of a grump lately because I wouldn't sleep during the day and then I wouldn't sleep during the night either, but I don't think it all that bad being miserable 'cos I here people say Pops is a "miserable 'ole sod" sometimes, whatever that means.
Anyway, I've come out of that a little bit now, and am much happier as you can see from my photo!
I have lots of thing to catch up on, so where should I start?
What about my first Christmas?
Well what a good time I had at Christmas, I had lots and lots of presents and would like to thank everyone who sent me presents, they were great.
I stayed up Grandma Jenny's and Pop's house for a few days over Christmas, and although it was very nice I'll have to remember to take an extra blanket next time because at home mummy and daddy keep the heating on all night, but Pops doesn't. (What does "tight old sod" mean?)
We went to Nanny Sue and Grandad Rob's for Christmas Dinner, and there were lots of family there.
Mummy also bought me a Christmas outfit to wear .

Quite fetching really for a little girl don't you think. It was nice and warm anyway, I think I might become a hoodie when I grow up.
I also saw Uncle Jamie and Autie Jo over Christmas, and they told me I am going to have a new little cousin next year in June. I'm looking forward to that.
My doggie Ollie says he doesn't et on to well with Uncle Jamie, but I think he's OK, we seem to be on the same wavelength, I reckon we could both cause a bit of mischief when we get together.
My "pen friend" Cora Rose Howard came over from California to see her Grandparents for Christmas with Pop's friend Stacey but I couldn't get over to see her this time but I hope to when she comes back over again. Next time she will have a little sister with her because that's why her mummy couldn't come, she wasn't allowed to fly.

I now going Swimming on a friday with my mummy.
We go to a lovely warm pool in Axminster and a nice lady teaches us what to do in the water.
Daddy gets me undressed ready and then afterwards sometimes Grandma Jenny gets me dressed. It's really good and I don't even mind being thrown from the nice lady to mummy under water. If you remember that's the way I came into this world, so hey ho what's the big deal!!
I will show you some photo's of me in the pool next time we blog.

I have sorted out the sleeping problem, for any of you other kids out there having trouble out there with trying to get to sleep in a pokey old cot, try this!!

Not bad eh!!

I'm growing up now they say, because mummy has started feeding me solids.
Huh you call this stuff solid!!
Anyway, I'll have to go now, 'cos either I have to have a sleep or Pops does.
I'll blog again soon.
I love you all and hope to see you all soon.
